HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Xyta Lucas and her husband Jim moved to Bella Vista in 1995, after buying their first lot here in 1983.   In the spring of 2012, Xyta started volunteering as a docent at the Bella Vista Historical Museum and that summer was asked by the editor of the Weekly Vista to start writing a monthly history column for the newspaper, as part of her volunteer role, which she did for five years.  Those columns, called Past Perspectives, can be accessed here by year and title in a .pdf format for easy printing.
